Mad Chad, from Lubbock, TX., doesn’t hold anything back with his new single, displaying his crunchy guitar riffs that you need to experience for yourself.
Mad Chad says, “‘Down With My Demons” was written after all my dirt bikes were stolen from our family farm. I lost five nice motorcycles, our riding gear, a go cart and several other odds and ends for riding. Four of the five motorcycles were for my four little boys. It was a significant hit for me financially, physically, and mentally. I ended up recovering 3 of the bikes and the go cart with the help of the county law enforcement. My dirt bike was completely disassembled into pieces for scrap, and was not something I could rebuild or fix.” Mad Chad continues, “I was SO enraged at the thieves that I had to write a song because I couldn’t let it go. So, “Down With My Demons” was forged and brought to life from my mind. It’s about engaging with your demon on your shoulder, instead of the angel. I wanted to send a clear message that I was pissed and willing to resolve the issue the best way I saw fit.”
Mad Chad is also the lead guitarist/screamer of TEXAS 223, a metal band formed in 2018 also from Lubbock, TX., releasing their debut, self-titled record in 2019. Mad Chad is also the head guitar instructor at his premier studio, Don’t Fret Guitar Studio, located in Lubbock, TX.
In 2020, Mad Chad teamed up with super Producer/Engineer Chuck Alkazian (Pop Evil, Soundgarden, Tantric) at legendary Pearl Sound Studios (Asking Alexandria, Eminem, Filter), to make his debut album Ares State of Mind.
