Born in Kenya and now calling London home, Rick Ochi, a name derived from his full name, Derick Ochieng, has carved a unique path in music. Raised in West London’s Hayes, he was immersed in the UK’s underground scene, drawing inspiration from local talents like Beluga Ice, Casper, and TE Dness. Starting his musical journey at 14, he honed his craft through a music production course at 16, mastering recording and engineering. His debut single Feel so Good hit streaming platforms in 2020, followed by the versatile EP Different Avenues: The Tape in 2021, showcasing his range across Hip-Hop, melodic rap, and beyond.
