Skinner – Beer Me, Jim – 23 year-old slouch-rock Irish musician Skinner has released his long-awiated single ‘Beer Me, Jim’.Skinner will be releasing the Gunge EP on 12” vinyl and on DSPs on June 4th 2021.
‘Beer Me, Jim’ is a saxophone-soaked post-punk song written from the perspective of a young Irish person in lieu of finding a path in a country facing high rents, growing social inequality and a future that is worse off than the generations that have come before (as confirmed by a recent report).
The video, directed by Conor McCormick leans into this temporary inebriated escapism and will be released on June 4th 2021 to coincide with the EP’s release date.
