Oxlade docu-series launch: After the release of his record “Oxlade From Africa (OFA),” singer and songwriter Oxlade is giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at how he makes music with his “Oxlade From Africa” docuseries.
He goes on a global trip in this series and meets up with famous African and Afro-descendant artists to talk about how their cultures have affected them and share their innovative ideas.
Youssouf Fofana, the creative head and founder of the fashion brand Maison Château Rouge based in Paris, is in the first episode. Oxlade and Youssouf have a deep talk about his creative process, his project to help African entrepreneurs, his childhood, and how important it is for him that Africans have a lot of money.
Oxlade wants to bring attention to Africa’s culture impact on the world stage through both the album and the docuseries. He says, “This is my career plan. I’m just trying to show a good side of Africa and heal the world with music.”
