Payton Howie might be young, but she proves herself a force to be reckoned with in her debut EP Youngblood – out now. A vast array of tracks all co-written by the 20-year-old Texan, Youngblood represents Payton Howie wholeheartedly – patriotic, redneck, passionate, and at times, reckless.
“Youngblood encompasses every facet of who I am as a person and an artist,” explains Howie. “From my respect for the women of country to my rowdy side and love of country, I wanted to share every piece of it on this EP.”
Tracks from the new EP, including singles “Never Go Home” and “Country Before Me,” have not only been highlighted by Sounds Like Nashville, CMT and COWGIRL Magazine, but also featured on several Spotify editorial playlists like Country Rocks and Fresh Finds Country: Best of 2021.
