Emerging pop artist Kyra Machida has made her debut with her new single and visualizer “Connect,” released via Sound Factory Records/RECORDS/RCA Records. Bringing a fresh “future pop” vibe, this first single is the perfect introduction to Kyra’s unique sound and aesthetic. When asked about the meaning behind “Connect,” Kyra shared, “It’s about reconnecting with my true self after years of training to be in this industry.”
Born and raised in Japan, Kyra’s music journey began at the age of 14 when she signed with a Japanese label. Her hard work and determination eventually led her to Los Angeles, where she continues to pursue her passion. Inspired by artists like Imogen Heap and Pink Pantheress, Kyra describes her sound as a blend of R&B melodies, lush vocals, plush harmonies, and electronic production over drum and bass.
