Hackney-born artist Bel Cobain steps forward with her new EP ‘Kizzy,‘ a deeply personal and emotionally layered body of work that feels like her most honest release so far. Across six tracks, the project brings together earlier singles ‘Am I Dumb’, ‘Fucking City’ and ‘Change,’ while offering a fuller, more complete picture of an artist growing into her own voice.
Sonically, ‘Kizzy’ doesn’t sit in one place for long. It moves fluidly through rock, jazz, R&B, hip hop, folk, and breaks, creating a sound that feels both textured and unpredictable. Despite that range, everything is held together by Bel’s storytelling, which remains introspective, vulnerable, and rooted in real-life experience.
The project took shape over 18 months, written during scattered studio sessions, periods of sofa surfing, and moments of personal upheaval. From the loss of loved ones to the end of relationships and major life chapters, ‘Kizzy’ is built from a time of intense transition, and you can feel that in every track.
Throughout the EP, Bel explores themes of love, loneliness, abuse, healing, and self-discovery with a raw honesty that never feels forced. She doesn’t shy away from the difficult parts of her journey, instead choosing to sit with them and make sense of them through her music.

At its heart, ‘Kizzy’ is about navigating endings while still holding onto softness, beauty, and strength. It’s a project that feels real, unfiltered, and human, marking an important moment in Bel Cobain’s artistic journey.
