After a two-year hiatus, Pedro Capó is back with La Carretera, a deeply personal and introspective album that he calls the most significant of his career. With this new project, Capó delivers his most honest and authentic work yet, solidifying his status as one of the most compelling voices in Latin music today.
“This is the most honest and comfortable album I’ve ever created,” Capó shares. “It’s a true reflection of my art and what I want to share with the world. Life is a journey, and like any road, it has its twists, ups and downs, and unforgettable moments. La Carretera is a reminder that it’s not just about the destination—it’s about embracing the ride.”
Now available on all digital platforms as of Friday, January 31, La Carretera was introduced with its title track and music video, which premiered just a day earlier on January 30.
The album features 14 songs, including previously released hits like Sabe Bien, Esto Se Jodió, and Existo, a standout collaboration with Mexican artist Carín León. Among the new tracks, Aprender a Vivir—featuring Jorge Drexler and Chambao—is already emerging as a fan favorite.
With La Carretera, Pedro Capó invites listeners to join him on a musical journey filled with raw emotion, storytelling, and a renewed passion for his craft.
