Australian fans might want to start clearing their calendars. Kid Cudi has just hinted that a full headline tour down under could be on the way, and the excitement is already building fast.
After more than ten years away, the Cleveland star finally returned to Australia over the New Year period, lighting up stages at Wildlands Festival and Beyond The Valley. Once the shows wrapped, Cudi jumped on Instagram on January 3 to reflect on the experience, calling the trip unforgettable and thanking fans for the overwhelming love.
He spoke about how powerful it felt to watch crowds sing every lyric and lose themselves in the music. Then came the line that sent fans into a frenzy. Cudi revealed he is already planting the seeds for a proper Australian tour and promised that when he comes back, he will do it the right way, with a full set packed with hit records, fan favorites, and new material.
Nothing has been officially announced yet, but the message was clear. He is not done with Australia.
His recent visit included a headline performance at Wildlands Festival, which kicked off on January 1 at Brisbane Showgrounds before traveling west to Arena Joondalup in Perth on January 3. The event featured heavy hitters like Dom Dolla and Addison Rae, alongside acts such as 070 Shake, Cassian, Luude, Chris Stussy, and KETTAMA.
Cudi also appeared at Beyond The Valley in Victoria, which just celebrated its tenth anniversary. The festival sold out instantly and drew a massive crowd of 40,000 people, with fans welcoming Cudi back like he never left. After the show, he shared another heartfelt post about how special it was to bring in the New Year with Australian fans.
With the energy still high and hints already in motion, it feels like only a matter of time before Kid Cudi officially announces the tour fans have been waiting over a decade for.
