The band explains: “’Fool in Love’ ventures into the eye of the optimist, and explores the unexplainable phenomenon of developing an unexpected attachment that becomes deep affection. With escapism and vulnerability at its core, ‘Fool in Love’ allows the listener to step out of reality for a moment and indulge in the beauty of loving, and being loved in return.”
Recorded live at Brighton Electric Studios produced by the renowned Corin Robinson, the band embraced a natural, groove-driven approach. The band add: “Our process involves recording live without a click, allowing the song to breathe and develop its own rhythm.”
Ever Elysian’s rising profile in the indie scene is undeniable, with a series of successful live shows and festival appearances, including support slots for artists like Kymara, Charlotte Carpenter, and Caleb Harris, as well as a performance at the HOMEGROWN Festival supporting The Wytches. Their three sold-out release shows in Brighton have become a celebration of local art and community as the band continue to build a dedicated fanbase.
