Stone Senate, one of the most dynamic and versatile rock bands today, is set to ignite the European music scene once again with their explosive mix of Southern soul and rock ‘n’ roll. Following a high-energy performance in Nashville, where they opened for Brother Cane’s 30th anniversary celebration of their 1993 debut album, the band is ready to bring their electrifying sound to 28 stages across six countries this fall.
The Lucky Buzz European Tour kicks off this week, coinciding with the release of their new single, “Lucky Buzz,” available on Thursday, October 30. A lively, upbeat track, “Lucky Buzz” explores themes of luck, friendship, and resilience, offering a rallying cry for those facing life’s challenges. Written by guitarist James Edwards, the song channels a spirited, positive energy that’s become a hallmark of the band’s sound, blending gritty guitar riffs with evocative storytelling.
Reflecting on the inspiration behind the song, Edwards shares, “The title ‘Lucky Buzz’ was the name of a horse my dad had when I was a kid. He was a bit of a wild one! The name just always stuck with me. When I wrote the song, I wanted to write something that reflected the ‘I’m gonna beat the odds’ attitude, amidst all the doom and gloom we face every day.”
The release of “Lucky Buzz“ marks the band’s first single since their 2020 album Between the Dark and the Light. As Stone Senate continues to channel both grief and joy into their music, they honor their roots and the power of resilience.
