Telebox Unveils New EP ‘When Night Turns Into Day’: Galway’s rising alternative quartet Telebox has released their highly anticipated new EP, When Night Turns Into Day.
Produced by acclaimed engineer Michael O’Dowd at Lakeland Studios, When Night Turns Into Day showcases Telebox’s growth and musical evolution. The EP includes their recent singles, “House on Fire” and “Pilot,” and features evocative storytelling lyricism over swirling guitar-led soundscapes that blend psychedelic elements with atmospheric shoegaze and indie.
Topped with emotive, heartfelt, and melodic lead vocals, the tracks shift between moments of reflective melancholy and distortion-soaked intensity.
Discussing the EP, the band explains: “When Night Turns Into Day explores a vast plain of emotions felt by the band during their interrailing trip across Europe. It captures a series of little moments that would usually go unnoticed. The final line of the EP, ‘When Night Turns Into Day,’ is reminiscent of those late nights turned mornings that make us appreciate the world around us. The time frame during which the songs on the EP were written was a point of big change for the band as members moved out and started college. The EP reflects senses of frustration, joy, and nostalgia, mirroring the adjustment to new surroundings.”
Telebox has made a name for themselves as a touring band across the UK and Ireland, gaining support from press and radio, including Hot Press, RTE, Galway Advertiser, Connacht Tribune, This is Galway, and Abyss Magazine. Their tracks have been featured on prominent playlists such as Best New Irish Music by Nialler9, Golden Plec New Irish Music, and Hot Press New Irish Songs to Hear This Week. They have also received airplay on 2FM, RTE RNAG, Flirt FM, Dublin City FM (Tilt), Future Hits Radio, and RTE 2XM.
