Columbia Records rising Country artist Tanner Adell releases the closing chapter to her groundbreaking debut Country mixtape with BUCKLE BUNNY STRIPPED, available everywhere today, Oct. 6. BUCKLE BUNNY STRIPPED is the reimagined, sultry and emotional take on Adell’s female-empowerment tracks that pulls back the layers on the glamorous anthems from the debut EP. While authentically blending her Wyoming and California roots, Adell lets the lyrics speak for themselves through the all-new, unplugged renditions while unapologetically paving her own lane of Country music.
The 615 Chutney Sessions are releasing every Tuesday for the next five weeks, fans will get their intimate preview into the Buckle Bunny acoustic sessions filmed at Nashville’s 615 Chutney restaurant. The “Luke Combs” video led the charge with its release this Tuesday, Oct. 3. “Love You A Little Bit,” “Backroad,” “I Hate Texas,” ”Trailer Park Barbie” and “FU-150” will follow on each coming Tuesday respectively.
Serving as the final chapter to her Country mixtape collection – a first for the genre – the six acoustic songs complete the empowering introduction with a softer tone that shines a light on Adell’s striking vocals. Serving as co-writer on each track, Adell peels back the curtain on her personal narrative as a biracial woman embracing the truest version of herself through heartfelt story-driven lyricism. Fans get a new look at title track “Buckle Bunny” which commands attention by combining rodeos with rhinestones while embracing stereotypes and turning them on their head. Adell flips the historically derogatory term into an anti-shaming, shimmering summer anthem.
After teasing the single in late 2022, Adell’s fans quickly rallied behind the viral track tease and the singer was met with a frenzied outpour of demand from fans. The singer-songwriter was introduced to her cult following through tracks including breakout smash “Love You A Little Bit” along with subsequent hits “Throw it Back,” “FU-150” and “I Hate Texas.” With every release, Adell’s range both vocally and sonically becomes undeniable, exemplifying the new class of artists who effortlessly transcend traditional genre boundaries.
The Nashville Briefing Artist To Watch has already had a busy summer by making her first appearances at CMA Fest, Spotify House and Windy City Smokeout. This is just the beginning for the innovative singer-songwriter as she continues to make her mark in Music City and beyond. Keep up with Adell on Instagram, TikTok, Youtube and Twitter.
