SexyTadhg – Claim My Love: Irish breakout artist SexyTadhg (pronounced Sexy-Tie-g) is back with a powerful new single titled Claim My Love, lifted from the upcoming EP Sexy due for release on September 10th.
The release follows a huge start to 2025. SexyTadhg has already performed as main support on a sold-out UK tour with The Mary Wallopers, earned airplay on RTE 2FM and BBC Radio 6 Music, and picked up praise from major outlets including Clash, Dork, Notion, Hot Press, Irish Times, and Nialler9. On top of that, appearances on national Irish TV such as the Six O’Clock Show and Síorstíl have cemented their presence as one of the most exciting new names in Irish music.
Claim My Love blends big band jazz with soulful pop and disco energy. With its radiant production, the track bursts to life through bold brass sections, vibrant keys, soaring backing vocals, and a groove-driven rhythm section of bass, drums, and guitar. At the center is SexyTadhg’s charismatic lead vocal, delivering the track’s empowering message with theatrical flair.
Speaking on the new single, SexyTadhg shares:
“No act of self love is more rewarding and fulfilling than setting personal boundaries and protecting your peace. Don’t you play with my emotions and then try to Claim my Love. It’s house, it’s disco, it’s bright, it’s beautiful, and it’s a daily reminder that your mind, your personality, your vulnerability, and you as a human being are precious and should only be held by those who value, understand, and respect you.”
The upcoming EP Sexy promises to deliver a bold mix of intimacy, defiance, and theatrical storytelling. Exploring themes of love, self-expression, and the beauty of being alive, it showcases SexyTadhg’s unique artistry and fearless creativity.
Already hailed across national press and radio, SexyTadhg’s journey has included standout performances with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, supporting Eurovision winner Loreen, opening for The Mary Wallopers at Fairview Park, and performing at iconic events like Live at the Marquee Cork, Galway Big Top, Electric Picnic, Beyond The Pale, and Other Voices.
Their achievements also include a Studio 8 session with Ray D’Arcy, interviews with Louise Cantillon and Tracy Clifford, and recognition from The Irish Times as one of the 50 to Watch. SexyTadhg also received the Dublin Fringe Festival’s Radical Spirit Award, further proving their impact in Irish music and culture.
With headline shows lined up in London, Cork, and Dublin, plus major summer festival slots at All Together Now and Beyond The Pale, SexyTadhg is poised for a breakout year. The new EP Sexy arrives on September 10th and marks the next bold chapter in their fearless, flamboyant, and unapologetically original sound.
