Rocker Aaron Marlowe releases his new project “Blood on The Bottom Line.” You can listen to the single here.
Aaron Marlowe has been playing guitar for 25 years, but he recently broke into the Nashville music scene. Working as a software developer, Aaron realized that he had even more talent to give to the world. After nearly 20 years in the corporate world, he decided he could both create music and design computer programs, combining both of his passions into his life. Raised in East Tennessee in a family steeped with a rich love of the Grand Ole Opry and country legends such as Alabama and Johnny Cash. Ironically, this new single takes aim at Aaron’s recent challenges in everyday work life.
“Blood On The Bottom Line.” The song’s rocking instrumentation paired with meaningful lyrics make this song a certified standout for Marlowe. With lyrics like “Company man slaving away / Killing himself day by day / Never questioning his suits / Ignoring all the abuse” and “Working his ass from dawn till dusk / Not realizing he’s just a husk / Drinking on the job / His soul been robbed,” Aaron sets the scene by describing common burnout. With catchy chorus lyrics, “Blood / Blood on the bottom line / Blood /Blood on the bottom line,” Aaron, who spends his day job in corporate America as a software engineer, has been challenged by the jobs he has held, and the corporate headaches and personalities that come with the territory.
Marlowe has been featured with major media players such as The Academy of Country Music, Fandom Daily, Music Crowns, and more.
