Dani Ivory returns with “Get Through,” a raw, heartfelt anthem about choosing your partner even when love is complicated, heavy, and far from perfect. It captures a deeply specific, yet universally felt emotion: standing beside the person you love when they’re struggling, knowing there’s only so much you can do, but refusing to walk away anyway.

Ivory’s vocal hits with emotional force from the opening lines, immediately setting the tone with unflinching honesty: “I really want to write a love song / But I can’t seem to get it right / I really want to tell you I miss you / But you’re drunk out of your mind”

It’s a devastatingly real beginning. One that doesn’t romanticize the situation, but tells the truth as it is. From there, the song only deepens, as Ivory makes it clear that love, for her, isn’t conditional or convenient: “There’s no other way around it / We can’t hop, skip, or go backward / We looked our whole damn lives and found it…”

Even in the face of judgment from the outside world, she refuses to abandon the person she loves: “For sticking around and watching you drown / But if you go down, baby, I go down”

One of the most powerful moments comes when Ivory turns the lens inward, acknowledging her own flaws and contradictions with striking vulnerability: “And I wish I was stronger not to enable you, but I’m human too / I’m no better than you / I still choose you”

Rather than offering easy answers, “Get Through” embraces the messy reality of love, where devotion and doubt can exist side by side. It’s not about fixing someone; it’s about showing up, meeting each other halfway, and believing that together, there’s still a way forward.

Ivory has never shied away from honesty, and “Get Through” stands as one of her most emotionally courageous songs yet.

As an early member of Imagine Dragons, she played a key role in helping the band secure their deal with Interscope Records in 2012.

Her performance credits span major stages around the world—from the Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show with Beyoncé to Coachella, Jools Holland, SNL, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Late Show with James Corden, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

An ever-evolving artist with an outlaw spirit, she bends the rules to create music that matters, fearlessly exploring honest, deeply felt topics without compromise. While her 2023 debut album Dreamland leaned into ethereal EDM, pop, and R&B influences. Her upcoming four-song EP, “No Other Way,” marks a bold shift and new chapter. This new project embraces a raw, organic sound rooted in storytelling, revealing a truer reflection of who she is at her core, as an artist, with strong country influences.

Growing up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in a large, music-filled, faith-based family, she was immersed in a rich musical environment. She practiced singing and studied liturgical music alongside classical piano, exploring everything from Baroque to Impressionist works. Music became a natural part of her daily life and instilled the discipline that would later drive her professional career.

With a full scholarship, the Berklee College of Music and later moved to Los Angeles, where she spent several years developing her distinct sound. Now based in Nashville, Tennessee, she remains grounded in the values, family, and musical roots that shaped her, drawing inspiration from artists like Amy Winehouse, Erykah Badu, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Fleetwood Mac, Aretha Franklin, and Elvis Presley. Fresh off a tour with Vance Joy, she is getting ready to waterfall her new EP starting with the single “Hope” on October 17, 2025.

Dani Ivory stands at the intersection of power and vulnerability, merging fierce artistry with a humble spirit rooted in years of experience and personal growth. As she continues to evolve, she does so with purpose, proving that true strength lies in embracing every side of who you are. With a fearless voice and unwavering dedication, Dani Ivory is proving you can be everything you’ve ever dreamed – A fully whole, unapologetically real, and entirely unstoppable.
