Nashville girl group ElectraQueens (formerly The Highway Women) release first single in 2024, “In My Dreams.” The single was written by the trio, and blends their unique brands of country, R&B, and alternative to create a unique and fresh pop sound. You can listen to the single here.
ElectraQueens are the true definition of “power trio.” The cross-genre band is like no other, combining three artists with distinct styles to create a fresh, new sound. While their backgrounds are different, their blend is one of a kind. Their love for each other, music, and desire to inspire others has had a massive connection with the world. They have grown their roots and a strong fanbase on the TikTok platform and now have 140K+ followers after the success of their “You Sing Melody” style videos.
Their latest TikTok of a harmony accompaniment for “Linger” by The Cranberries went massively viral, hitting 1M views in less than 24 hours. The video is at nearly 5M views and climbing.
In 2024, the band will release more new music produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Jesse Brock.
Jenane is a Georgia native who went to Nashville and graduated from Belmont University’s Commercial Voice program. She is a professional touring singer and background vocalist. Only adding to her acclaim, she has garnered over half a million followers with her “vocal lesson” TikToks. She is a pop/R&B singer by nature and leads the group’s vocal arrangements with her powerhouse voice and unmatched technique. Her latest single, “Who You Are,” was added to Audiomack’s “Pop Weekly” playlist and is currently trending on the platform. Gabrielle Vaughn hails from Ohio and is also a graduate of Belmont University, where she focused on the creative and entertainment industry. She has been seen playing stages like EXIT/IN and on the TIDAL editorial playlist “Pop Art,” with her distinct alternative sound wowing audiences. Alyssa Scott is a Fargo, North Dakota transplant who calls Nashville home and brings the country/boho flair to the group. Scott has several accolades under her belt, such as opening for country star Chris Young and gracing Apple Music Country’s editorial playlists, The Academy of Country Music, and more.
The supergroup has performed at many festivals and shows and has shared the stage with major talents such as The Bacon Brothers (Kevin Bacon and Michael Bacon), Josh Gallagher (The Voice),country starsJenna DeVries and Adam Mac, and social influencer and musician Cory Singer. ElectraQueens made their City Winery debut in Nashville for two shows, performing alongside The Bacon Brothers and their band. They also collaborated with The Bacon Brothers on the single “Let Me Happen to You” from their EP Erato.
The group also recorded a single with Kathy Sledge of Sister Sledge fame, a cover of “You Are Everything” by The Stylistics.
