How does Let Loose fit into your overall vision for your music career? Do you see yourself exploring more pop EDM in the future?
I think Let Loose fits into my vision in the sense that the song resonates the eclectic sort of vibe I try to go for in my upbeat music. I like the feel of a sort of “out of this world” sound, with lyrics that are meaningful and are personal to me.
What was the most rewarding part of collaborating with Sage Sam on this single, and can we expect more collaborations in the future?
The most rewarding part of collaborating was being able to work with someone as experienced and talented as Sage. It was such an honor to see the way he works in the studio, with the combination of his artistic visions and his technical skills. He brings my artistic side, and together we were able to create a song that is so meaningful and special to us.
What kind of experiences or performances do you hope to create for your fans with this new track?
I hope to have performances that contain artsy and eclectic visuals that resemble the song. It would be very cool to have a visual presentation that matches the song. We also plan on making a music video for this song, and we’re currently in the process of storyboarding the vision for it.
Given that Let Loose is about pushing through mental barriers, do you have any rituals or habits that keep you grounded as an artist?What’s next after the release of Let Loose?
My biggest habit is trying to maintain balance in my life, because when my life feel stable and I’m mentally at peace, I’m able to work more thoroughly. Enjoying all aspects in life and taking time for different things keep me from getting burnt out or overworked. After this song is released, Sage and I are going to be working on a new music video for it, as well as beginning to write a new album. I’m super excited!
Do you have any plans for an EP, album, or tour?How do you hope Let Loose positions you in the music industry, particularly in terms of genre and audience reach?
Absolutely! We’re going to be working on a new album, as well as setting up performances to share our new music. I feel like this song opens up a new realm for me in the music industry, since I’m branching out into the EDM world. The new album we’re working on is going to follow this vibe, and I’m looking forward to exploring this sound and creating music that inner-twines both of our styles.
