This year’s playlist highlights several standout artists, including Nigerian stars Tems and Rema, as well as South Africa’s Tyla. Tems, who appeared on Obama’s end-of-year playlist with “Me & U,” returns with “Love Me Jeje” from her latest album, Born In The Wild.

Rema, whose hit “Calm Down” was featured on Obama’s 2022 playlist, is back with “Yayo,” the fourth track from his album HEIS. Tyla, who previously made waves with her Grammy-winning hit “Water” on Obama’s 2023 end-of-year playlist, is also featured this year with “Jump” from her self-titled album, Tyla, which includes collaborations with Gunna and Skillibeng.
