Usher Postpones Past Present Future Tour: Usher’s highly anticipated “USHER: PAST PRESENT FUTURE Tour” was set to launch on Wednesday (Aug. 14) at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. However, the R&B superstar has decided to postpone the concert to allow his body some much-needed time to “rest and heal.”
In an Instagram statement, Usher explained, “For my 30-plus-year career, I have poured every ounce of my blood, sweat, and tears into delivering the best performances and creating unforgettable experiences for my fans.”
He added, “I am committed to doing the same for this tour, which is why I need to reschedule tonight’s show. I want to ensure that you receive the best of both the past and the present, and a unique glimpse into the future on the rescheduled date. My priority is to give you 100 percent, and the last thing I want is to disappoint the fans who have eagerly awaited this tour.”

Usher emphasized, “I wouldn’t be the entertainer I am if I couldn’t physically deliver my best. My team will provide updates on the new date soon. I’m excited to celebrate this legacy with you.”
The tour, initially set to commence with three shows in Atlanta, will now begin with its rescheduled performance. The subsequent A-Town shows on Friday (Aug. 16) and Saturday (Aug. 17) are expected to proceed as planned. The tour will continue across North America until late November, with stops in major cities including Toronto, Brooklyn, Detroit, Los Angeles, Charlotte, and Chicago.
Following a holiday break, Usher will resume with the U.K. and European leg of the tour in March 2025.
