Sig Sali – Yozeke: Bristol based producer, songwriter and vocalist SIG SALI releases the yearning and beguiling indietronica fizzer ‘Yozeke (Psychopath).
Showcasing a sprawling blend of glitching electronics, processed, vocoder tinted vocals and soaring guitar lines, the result is a track which brings elements of hyper-pop with indie-rock and synth heavy production. Taken from the forthcoming EP Chaos In My Mind, the track offers a taste of the and unique bold soundscaping which stylises SIG SALI’s sound.
Produced by SIG SALI himself, co-produced by Freddie Cowan (The Vaccines, Freddie & The Scenarios), and mixed by Ricardo Acasuso (The Vaccines), the new single highlights the blend lo-fi electronics, biting guitar tones and striking vocal melodies which stylise the full EP; Catchy and accessible yet alternative and challenging.
Talking about the track, SIG SALI explains:
“This song is about being drawn to chaos and romanticising the danger in someone who probably doesn’t even have the capacity to love you back. It lives in those weird in-between spaces… hotel lobbies, sad bars, conversations that don’t happen… It’s messy, obsessive, kind of self-aware but still reckless, leaning into that emotional masochism we sometimes mistake for passion.
In a way, it’s a postcard from emotional exile. A performance of connection, staged under dim lights and awkward air, where love starts to feel more like possession than affection. Every line is a question I never asked out loud.
There’s a kind of twisted romance in wanting someone who hurts you, and this song doesn’t shy away from that. It leans into the ache.”
The Chaos In My Mind EP is a reflection of SIG SALI’s personal evolution as an artist, blending emotive lyrics with bold, atmospheric production. From the smooth, electronic pulses to the soaring indie-rock guitar riffs, SIG SALI crafts a sound that is uniquely his own. The upcoming EP also taps into the dream-like allure of late-night moments, with each song carrying a distinct mood and narrative, all presented through SIG SALI’s alter ego.
With a wave of growing support across the likes of Earmilk, Notion, Atwood Magazine and BBC Radio, Sig Sali has started to make a name for himself as one to watch.
