After receiving news of a terrifying health scare, country/americana artist Shari Rowe took to reflecting and writing; the result – “Too Good To Go.” What started as a means of processing potentially-fatal news became a beautifully inspiring and poetic song depicting a deep appreciation for the wonders of life.

“‘Too Good To Go’ started as a poem that I wrote on the night when I really thought the worst was happening–dealing with fear as a person of faith and pondering the juxtaposition of fear and gratitude,” states Shari Rowe. “It grew into this song, coming from a place of reflection and deep appreciation. The way the people in my life showed up for and supported me filled my heart in a way that has changed me forever. ‘I love that I’ve got so much to lose’–that line is the heartbeat of the song.”
While on tour, Shari Rowe suffered many health symptoms, involving doctors running tests with no answers. In March of 2025, she received the news that there were signs of Multiple Myeloma, a type of blood cancer. That night, Shari Rowe grappled with the shock and fear by writing the poem that later became the song “Too Good To Go.” Weeks after, doctors would settle on a diagnosis of Eosinophilic Fasciitis–a rare but non-life-threatening autoimmune condition.
Shari Rowe has built a reputation for connecting and engaging with an audience on the most genuine level.
