The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Selena Gomez will be honored with this year’s Equity in Entertainment Award at the upcoming Women in Entertainment breakfast gala, presented by Lifetime, on December 4 in Los Angeles.
Gomez, a dedicated advocate for inclusivity and mental health awareness, joins Nicole Kidman, who will be recognized with the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award, as an honoree at the highly anticipated event.
The Equity in Entertainment Award celebrates individuals who elevate the voices of underrepresented communities in the entertainment industry. Established in 2016, this prestigious award has previously honored industry leaders like Kerry Washington, Issa Rae, Ryan Murphy, Amy Pascal, Nina Jacobson, and Selma Blair, acknowledging their work in promoting diversity and inclusivity across the entertainment landscape.
