Dublin quartet Runner release the vibrant debut single, ‘View’ (12th Jan). Blending elements of nostalgic indie-rock with a driving raw edge, the debut single showcases Runner’s ability to weave intricate yet direct instrumentation with emotional depth. Drawing inspiration from legendary ’70s rock icons like Rush and Pink Floyd, paired with the gritty edge of ’90s trailblazers Nirvana and Radiohead, ‘View’ offers listeners a fresh yet familiar sonic journey.

Capturing the band’s introspective style with biting soaring guitar riffs and evocative lyricism, the track is as comparable to Fontaines DC as it is the likes of The Vaccines.
