With over two decades of experience in the music industry, Richeewell is a Nigerian artist who began his career as one half of the R&B duo Soulmen, before embarking on a successful solo journey that showcased his distinctive blend of Hiplife, Afrobeat, and contemporary national sounds.
In 2001, Richeewell established his name across Nigeria with his debut single, ‘Happy Day’, produced by Emma Okoli at Dove Records, the same label known for launching Plantashun Boiz. The track received significant airplay and laid the foundation for his career. Since then Richeewell would go on to collaborate with several notable artists, including Paul Play, OJB Jezreel, KellyHansome, Keche, and Durella. His catalogue now includes over 30 recordings, with standout tracks such as ‘Mosorire (Remix),’ ‘Babatise,’ ‘You Don Spoil,’ ‘Isale Eko,’ ‘Kelegbe,’ and ‘Bamidele’.
