Music Tech Europe Academy Opens Applications for 2024 Program: Tech Europe Academy, one of Europe’s key initiatives designed to help music startups gain traction, has opened applications for its 2024 program, with Music Ally (disclosure!) as one of the partners.
The program will select 10 startups for an EU co-funded initiative, covering topics such as AI in music, music licensing, PR and communications, budgeting, sales, and ESG (environmental, social, and governance) matters. This announcement was made at the New Visions conference in Berlin.
Alongside Music Ally, other partners for the 28-week program include UMG, Hemi, Lift99, Innovathens, and Orfium. It is open to startups within the European Union, with applications closing on October 13. Coordinating the program are Music Innovation Hub, the Italian social enterprise that leads the MTEA consortium, along with Media Deals (Germany), Technoport (Luxembourg), Meso Events (Greece), and the Barcelona Music Tech Hub (Spain). Anna Zò of the Music Innovation Hub noted that startups from all over Europe are welcome to apply. Full details are here.
