Lynvy – Worami: Belgium-based music producer Lynvy is back with a stunning new single, Worami, blending the pulse of Afro beats with the energy of electronic dance music. Released on the 31st of January, 2025, Worami is a celebration of culture, rhythm, and sonic experimentation, a testament to Lynvy’s journey as both an artist and a producer.
The track represents a personal exploration of sound and culture for Lynvy, who spent several transformative days in Morocco in 2024 with Grammy-winning artist Deep Forest. The opportunity to learn directly from one of the pioneers of electronic world music sparked an entirely new wave of inspiration. “Meeting with Deep Forest opened my eyes to a world of Afro sounds, and I wanted to integrate those rhythms into my own music,” says Lynvy. “With Worami, I aimed to merge electronic dance music with traditional Afro rhythms to create something fresh, vibrant, and uplifting. It’s a piece that invites movement and celebration but with an accessible, pop-infused energy that’s both modern and organic.”
As Lynvy continues to expand his artistic voice, Worami marks a pivotal moment in his career. The track features catchy, danceable beats that echo the joy and positivity of Afro-dance music, yet its production stays rooted in Lynvy’s electronic background. It’s a fusion that invites listeners to step into a world of celebration and rhythm, blending the best of both worlds.
Lynvy’s passion for music began in mid-2024 at the age of 32, when they immersed themselves in the craft of electronic music production. Over the last year, Lynvy has learned from some of the industry’s most respected figures, including Grammy Award-winner Deep Forest, and renowned DJ-producer AirwaveMusic. Lynvy’s first release, Riff Me Up, debuted on November 23, 2024, officially marking the beginning of their solo career. “The process of creating music has been incredibly rewarding,” says Lynvy, reflecting on their rapid evolution as an artist. “Each collaboration brings something new to the table and adds to my musical identity.”
Alongside their solo endeavors, Lynvy has also found success in collaborative projects, most notably their work with French Touch artist Ocin J on Nightrend which is an original blend of progressive house, ambiance and psytrance, infused with high energy and a danceable groove. It is scheduled for release in mid-April. These collaborations, combined with Lynvy’s continuous exploration of sound and culture, have played a crucial role in shaping Worami into the vibrant Afro-dance fusion it is today.
