UK-born, LA-based singer-songwriter Jade Bird returns with her striking new single, Nobody, the fourth track to emerge from her upcoming album Who Wants To Talk About Love?, set for release on July 18 via Glassnote Records.
Blending emotional honesty with a soaring chorus, Nobody captures the ache of holding on to a relationship that’s already slipping away. Written by Jade and produced by Andrew Wells (Phoebe Bridgers, Teddy Swims), the song paints a vivid picture of denial and longing. “Knowing your relationship is in tatters but being unable to admit defeat,” Jade explains, “because you feel that there’s no one who is better than that person despite it being so bad.”
With each release from the album so far, including Who Wants, Dreams, and Avalanche, Jade continues to open up in ways that feel even more personal and raw. This latest chapter in her music is shaped by the kind of reflection that only comes from heartbreak and healing. Working alongside top producers like Andrew Sarlo (Bon Iver, Big Thief) and Greg Kurstin (Adele), Jade explores everything from generational trauma and the end of an engagement to the complicated process of forgiving the people who have hurt us most.

“I wrote this album while trying to make sense of the broken relationships in my family,” she shares. “It’s as much a question as an answer, wondering if I could break the cycle while finding my own path to forgiveness.”
Since her 2019 debut, Jade Bird has evolved from an indie-folk newcomer into a fearless, genre-bending songwriter. With Nobody, she proves once again that she knows how to turn deeply personal moments into songs that speak to all of us.
