Emerging dark pop artist HAIVE delivers a stunning emotional statement with her new single “Bathtub”, a haunting and deeply personal exploration of trauma, healing, and self-reclamation.
Beginning as a fragile, introspective ballad before evolving into an intense techno-driven crescendo, “Bathtub” captures the emotional aftermath of sexual abuse, from numbness and isolation to rage and empowerment. The cinematic progression of the song mirrors the process of reclaiming one’s voice after trauma, creating a raw yet cathartic listening experience.
Musically, “Bathtub” embodies HAIVE’s signature Dark Pop / Midtempo sound, merging the intricate production and low-end intensity of Skrillex and Rezz with the vocal intimacy of Billie Eilish. Every layer of sound feels intentional, designed for listeners who engage deeply with emotional storytelling rather than consume passively.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, HAIVE shares,
“I wanted to make something that does not shy away from pain. The song moves through vulnerability and ends in rage, not destruction but empowerment.”

With “Bathtub”, HAIVE solidifies her place as one of the most fearless new voices in the alternative pop scene. The single serves not only as an artistic statement but also as a message of strength for survivors, transforming trauma into art, silence into sound, and pain into power.
“Bathtub” is available now on all major streaming platforms.
