“This album came from a dark time in my life,” GRAE says. “It was shaped by what I was going through, but also by the things I was witnessing around me. Apollonia is an American actress, singer, and model best known for her role as Apollonia in the 1984 film Purple Rain, where she became Prince’s leading lady. She was also the lead singer of the girl group Apollonia 6, formed by Prince. In addition to her work with him, she has pursued a solo music career and appeared in various film and television projects.
