French The Kid Cant Kill Bill
SHARE

An integral name within the UK’s rap space, French The Kid has returned to our soundwaves with the release of his latest album, ‘Can’t Kill Bill’. The album name comes from a place within French The Kid after his older brother sadly passed away and deals with issues such as mental health, and losing yourself as a person.

Housing over 100 million streams across DSP’s, French The Kid has built an incredibly loyal fanbase over the years, with a reputation that speaks for itself. Selling out tours and headline shows across the UK and into international borders including Australia and Germany, the hit-maker has previously teamed up with a number of household names including Clean Bandit, Rema, Bugzy Malone, Russ Millions, Bad Boy Chiller Crew, and more. Swiftly becoming the voice of a growing generation, French The Kid reasserts himself as a force to be reckoned with.

Spanning 15 tracks, including pre-released singles “Ghosts” [380k+], “Galahad” [3.9M] and “Ready Or Not” [1.6M] ‘Can’t Kill Bill’ see’s French The Kid return to his core, both musically and personally. Laced from start to finish with his signature bilingual bars, raw anecdotes, resilient mindset and real emotion, the Essex-raised rapper delivers an album that feels both reflective and forward-facing. Reflecting on his life since the release of his 2023 album, ‘No Signal’, he uncovers his growth, life changes and the trials and tribulations that have come with it. Not one to shy away lyrically from challenging topics, ‘Can’t Kill Bill’ continues to honour French’s strength and vulnerability as an artist, enabling listeners from all over the globe to relate to his music. From the melodic sounds of “Wonderland”, to the hard-hitting “Fairy Dust”, “Long To Be”, and “Ghosts”, French The Kid turns up the tempo in tracks like “Therapy” and “Talking To Me” before continuing to flex his bilingual bars in “Vanille Cigarette”. Boasting a plethora of various genres throughout, ‘Can’t Kill Bill’ is yet another unmissable release from French The Kid.

When asked about the album French The Kid stated, “This one feels special. It definitely was a journey recording this and I’m excited for my fans to finally hear it. Hopefully you find some records on here that connect with you.”

French The Kid – Bio
At 26, French The Kid stands as one of the UK’s most distinctive and consistently evolving artists. Raised in Romford, Essex, between council estates and traveller sites, his journey into music was never conventional. Time spent growing up in the South West of France added another layer to his identity, shaping a sound that feels both raw and globally aware. There is a realness to him that resonates. No façade, just honesty in the music.

Since breaking through with his Instagram freestyles in 2018, French The Kid has built a deep and loyal fanbase. Those freestyles now sit close to 100 million streams, laying the foundation for a catalogue that continues to grow with intent. Records like “Thrill”, “Single Player” and “Can’t Feel My Face” have become staples for his audience, combining melodic strength with introspective storytelling and instantly recognisable hooks.

His trajectory has translated far beyond streaming. International tours stretching from multiple sold out shows in Germany to a sold out Australia tour, have cemented his ability to connect in the real world, culminating in a sold out headline show at KOKO in Camden. Collaborations with artists including Clean Bandit, Rema, Bugzy Malone, Russ Millions and Bad Boy Chiller Crew and many others reflect both his versatility and the respect he commands across scenes

His last body of work, No Signal, marked a defining chapter. Now, as he steps into his next phase, the focus is sharper than ever. Each release feels considered, building towards a catalogue that is not just current, but lasting.

French The Kid is not chasing moments. He is creating them, on his own terms, with a sound and story that continue to evolve.
