East of England rising folk-punk singer-songwriter Fraser Morgan releases the new EP ‘I Hope You Can’t Relate’.

Showcasing heartfelt and honest songwriting encased in tracks which bring both vibrant pop melodies and grounding, organic folk instrumental arrangements, the EP captures some of Frasers strongest work to date. Talking openly and honestly about his struggles with mental health, the EP acts as a cathartic process for Fraser as he unpacks his feelings and struggles in order to regain confidence and allow his negative feelings to create something positive through his music.

Built around strummed acoustic guitars, picked mandolin, grounding bass and live drums, the EP brings a driving full band sound under Frasers charismatic, heartfelt and melodic vocal delivery, at times leaning on raw spoken word and others radiant and infectious melodies. Surrounded by his band, the recordings capture the energy and essence of his renowned, playful live performances.

Speaking about the EP Fraser explains: “I Hope You Can’t Relate is almost a diary—these are deeply personal experiences, and in a way, I hope they’re not relatable. If they are, I hope it helps someone feel seen.”

Whether he’s playing solo or with his band ‘Fraser Morgan and the Great Catastrophes’, Fraser keeps the crowd on their toes and captivated, delivering a performance that is often compared to the likes of Frank Turner, Jamie T and Nizlopi. Fraser recently played his 1000th show to a sold-out crowd at Colchester Arts Centre, and this experience shows when he’s putting on a beautifully chaotic, yet passionate and enjoyable performance.

Throughout his live shows, Fraser keeps the crowd laughing between songs with his unpredictable humour, whilst also delivering important messages of mental health within the songs themselves.

With ongoing support from the likes of BBC Introducing (Artist Of The Week) and features across the likes of Backseat Mafia, Fame and Atwood Magazine, Fraser is already established as one to watch, ready to take his music to a national audience.
