Irish pop-soul singer-songwriter Edwina van Kuyk has announced the arrival of a new winter single, ‘Find My Way (ft. Martello)’, releasing on Tuesday 2nd December. The song rounds out what has been the most promising year yet for the Limerick artist.
Her most recent project, the EP ‘Feels So Right’, earned strong support including her TV debut on the 6 O’clock show, and national airplay on stations such as RTÉ 2FM, 98FM & Today FM, and the title track named RTÉ 2FM’s TOTW.
Over the years, Edwina has built a reputation as a collaborator and live performer. She’s written and sung with a variety of Irish and international artists, and graced many of Ireland’s top venues, from intimate gigs at Pepper Canister Church and Whelans, to shows across the US in places such as The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.
‘Find My Way’ sees Edwina team up with Martello on songwriting, with production by Herman Franke, mixed and mastered by Cian O’Donoghue.
On the track, Edwina says:
“I feel like this time of year can be really hard for a lot of people. You’re forced to take stock of where you’re at and what you’ve achieved, but it’s nice to know that other people are feeling it too. This song is about the places we find home, and the people that make it.”
‘Find My Way’ arrives as autumn turns to winter, a time for reflection on longing, home, and finding a sense of direction in familiar places and faces.
