Rising alt-pop sensation Caroline Romano reveals her new EP, It Took Me Falling. The six-track project features previously released singles “Cruel and Unusual Punishment,” “Up the Stairs,” and “Unsteady,” alongside three brand new songs.

It Took Me Falling is a vivid snapshot of personal growth and resilience, capturing the beautiful chaos of finding yourself. At its core, the EP traces the search for that person, that love, or that dream you’ve been chasing, and the necessary pain that so often precedes something truly beautiful. Across each track, Caroline leans into vulnerability, tracing the hard-earned clarity that comes from moving through uncertainty instead of around it.

“It takes falling to land where you’re supposed to, and this EP was my process of coming to that realization myself,” she shares. “I think it’s a universal experience to question why we go through certain trials and heartbreaks in life. I’ve spent much of my youth writing about those moments in my music. This EP feels like the other side of that question. It’s my answer to why it’s worth living with your arms outstretched toward something you haven’t found yet.”

Hailing from Mississippi and now based in Nashville, Caroline Romano has established herself as a versatile artist, effortlessly transitioning between misty-eyed ballads and fiery alt-rock anthems. Following her 16-track debut album, Oddities and Prodigies in 2022, Caroline has been on an unstoppable ascent. Her last two EPs, A Brief Epic (2023) and How The Good Girls Die (2025) have drawn praise from tastemakers like tmrw Magazine, idobi Radio, Ones To Watch, and EUPHORIA.

Known for her high-energy live performances, she’s packed out rooms across Nashville and captivated audiences supporting Grayscale and Smallpools on tour. To celebrate the release of It Took Me Falling, she will performing tonight at Nashville’s The End with special guests Valories and Cam Becker.
