Callum Sutton makes a bold return with “Give You Something”, a gospel-infused soul and roots rock anthem from his upcoming self-produced album The Union. It’s a track that radiates both grit and heart, blending vintage R&B textures with a storytelling style that feels deeply personal.
Channelling the raw spirit of The Rolling Stones, the swagger of James Brown, and the emotional weight of Van Morrison, Sutton brings his unmistakable voice to the forefront. Originally written in his early twenties, the song has been reimagined years later with a richer, more seasoned perspective. The extended outro — layered with soaring Hammond B3 organ, mantra-like gospel harmonies, and driving percussion — transforms it into a full-bodied experience that lingers long after the final note.
“Give You Something” stands as the fourth single from The Union, a ten-track album carefully curated from more than 150 songs Sutton has penned over the last 12 years. It’s an ambitious project that reflects his evolution as an artist, and fans can expect even more when the accompanying full-length concert film drops this Fall.
With this release, Callum Sutton isn’t just giving us another song — he’s giving us a piece of himself, and it’s one worth holding onto.
