Following the release of his heartfelt ‘Copium’ EP, Swedish pop sensation Boy In Space (Robin Lundbäck) unleashes striking new single ‘Too Much To Lose’, out now!

With a steady string of releases throughout the year, Boy In Space is taking a fresh approach to his already recognisable sound. He has been making music in the American Upper South, discovering places like Nashville and collaborating with Country rooted musicians.

Following single ‘Dancing On Dynamite’ the Swedish artist now presents ‘Too Much To Lose’, arguably one of his strongest songs to date. This new release showcases a shift towards more guitar-heavy influences compared to his earlier work. A haunting pop track that tells a tale of star-crossed lovers, with their hearts entangled in an unwanted romance that has simmered beneath the surface for far too long

Final words – ‘Taxi take me home/I should be alone/Should I stay instead’ – poignantly express the dilemma, being torn between wanting to be with someone while wanting what is truly best for them.

The song explores the complexities of a forbidden romance, depicting two individuals struggling with long-suppressed emotions. The closing lines of the track poignantly capture the central dilemma – the internal conflict between desire and doing what’s right for the other person.”

Boy In Space: “‘Too Much To Lose’ talks about the sensation of wanting someone you’ve been with but knowing it would just make things so much worse if you would cross that line. And what it’s like dealing with that, going back and forth in your own head.”

Earlier this year, the release of his personal EP ‘Copium’ was a testament to a new sound with a deeper meaning. Heartfelt singles ‘Atom Bomb’, ‘Finally Fine Without You’ and ‘The Last Time’ showed a more intimate side of Robin, reflecting on themes of mental health and personal growth, while the scenic video for ‘Mayflowers‘ allowed the singer to explore light and creative notes through his passion for old school films.

Boy In Space achieved international success at a remarkably young age. After embarking on a world tour with his brothers, he transitioned to launch his solo career in 2018, solidifying his position on the global music scene. His distinctive voice, whimsical writing style, and versatile productions quickly captivated the pop world, leading to an impressive tally of over half a billion streams on Spotify alone.

All the while maintaining independence as an artist and touring extensively in the United States and Europe. After the release of heartfelt EP ‘Copium’, he keeps on shining armed with a new team, a fresh visual identity and a wealth of new music. Collaborations include Alan Walker, The Struts, 1Mind, Toby Gadd, Pink Sweat$, Phoebe Ryan, Jordan Shaw, NOTD, Shy Martin, John Newman, Red Triangle, Nick Furlong, Rod Wave, Freddy Alexander, among others.
