Billie Eilish has been officially named Apple Music’s Artist of the Year for 2024, celebrating her tremendous contributions to music and culture. This milestone makes her the first artist to win the accolade twice since the award’s inception in 2019.
Her year was filled with standout achievements, including the release of her critically acclaimed third album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT. The album, hailed as her most personal and powerful work yet, topped Apple Music’s charts in 138 countries, showcasing her evolution as an artist.
In addition to her music, Billie earned her second Academy Award and several GRAMMY wins for What Was I Made For?, the poignant track featured in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie. She also received seven GRAMMY nominations this year, including Record, Album, and Song of the Year.
