Lilia Asha continues her impressive rise with the release of Gaslighted, an emotionally powerful single that showcases songwriting maturity far beyond her years.
Originally written when she was just 11 and reworked for release at 14, the track explores the emotional fallout of manipulation and betrayal. Through vivid lyrics and thoughtful storytelling, Lilia captures the confusion that comes with broken trust and the lingering emotional damage left behind.
Musically, Gaslighted keeps things minimal but deeply effective. Built around a piano performed by Vitalii Kuzovkov and supported by a carefully placed cello, the arrangement creates a cinematic atmosphere that enhances the emotional intensity of the song without overwhelming it.
The track was recorded in Shanghai, with final production completed in Sydney, adding an international layer to an already ambitious release.
Despite her young age, Lilia continues to carry herself with the poise of a far more experienced artist. With performances at major venues including the Sydney Opera House already under her belt and more shows planned in Shanghai, she is quickly establishing herself as a talent to watch.
