Myke Towers – Island Boyz: Myke Towers is back with a bold new statement. His latest album Island Boyz is out now, offering 23 tracks that stretch the boundaries of Latin urban music while staying deeply rooted in his Puerto Rican and Caribbean identity.
More than just a genre-spanning project, Island Boyz feels like a personal journey. Towers blends reggaetón, dancehall, Latin R&B, afrobeats, and dembow to create a soundscape that reflects both where he’s from and where he’s headed. It’s a celebration of culture, creativity, and global ambition.
The album kicks off with “La Despedida,” featuring DFZM, setting an emotional tone from the start. Other standout moments include “Soleao” with Quevedo, already climbing Spanish radio charts, and the heartfelt “Expectativas.” There’s also “No Hay Break,” a dynamic collaboration with Omah Lay that pushes genre lines in exciting ways.
“Surferita,” featuring iZaak, stands out for its unexpected blend of ska and Mexican tuba, highlighting Towers’ talent for innovation. Meanwhile, the focus single “Tengo Celos” is quickly gaining traction, paired with a striking music video directed by Daniel Eguren and produced by Vampire Films.
Speaking on the project, Towers shares, “I wanted it to sound like where I’m from, but also like what I’m living right now. Island Boyz is the realest thing I’ve done to date.”

With Island Boyz, Myke Towers isn’t just delivering a new album—he’s offering a full-spectrum experience that connects past, present, and future.
