Merlis Camilo – Dioses: “Dioses” by Merlis Camilo is a beautiful song with strong production and a fitting duration of 3 minutes and 36 seconds. The music feels calm yet intense, and Merlis’ voice brings out so much emotion that you can feel the message even if you don’t fully understand the words. The song is in Spanish, so the meaning might not be clear to everyone at first, but the emotion shines through.

This track is about the pressure to look perfect and live up to the image others expect from you. Merlis opens up about how fame is not always happiness, and how being seen as strong all the time is exhausting. She reminds us that even people who seem like “gods” feel pain, get scared, and struggle behind closed doors.

The chorus says, “No quiero ser superhumana / Ya sé que gloria no es Nirvana,” which means, “I don’t want to be superhuman / I know that glory is not Nirvana.” That line really captures the heart of the song. She talks about seeing behind the scenes of fame, the sadness, the loneliness, the fear of being exposed and choosing peace and truth instead of pretending.

“Dioses” feels honest, deep, and brave. It’s a song that stays with you and makes you think about what really matters in life. Merlis Camilo proves again that she’s an artist with something real to say.
