Rising neo-soul artist TAMMIE (aka TheButterflyGrl) releases the hotly anticipated debut EP, ‘METAMORPHOSIS’ . Following the success of her earlier singles, which have collectively amassed over 60,000 streams, Tammie is riding a wave of critical acclaim, including support from BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, Jazz FM, DMY, Notion, Earmilk and multiple Spotify Editorial playlists.
‘METAMORPHOSIS’ is a 5-track EP that reflects Tammie’s personal and artistic evolution, encapsulating her journey from a young singer-songwriter to a fully realised artist with a distinct sound and vision. Tammie describes the EP as “my life’s anecdote,” with each track telling a part of her story, which has been shaped by a deep sense of purpose and spiritual awakening.
Speaking about the EP, Tammie explains: “This project will forever hold a very special place in my heart, because it tells a story of a truly magical self fulfilling prophecy, and one of my most life-changing experiences yet – my spiritual awakening. For a long time, I didn’t understand my life’s Purpose, yet I still immersed my life in music, and often wondered why. But now my Purpose is clear, and much greater than music, but it was the music that led me there. Now I want to use my music to lead others to the same place.”
The EP features production from Grammy-nominated and Billboard-charting producer The 25th Hour (Andrew Gowie) and was mastered by multi-platinum Mastering Engineer, Geoff Pesche, at Abbey Road Studios
