Following the announcement of a set at Glastonbury Festival, Bristol based producer, songwriter and vocalist SIG SALI releases the final single ‘Love’s Elixir’ (June 23rd) from the anticipated upcoming EP Chaos In My Mind (July 6th)
Making a sprawling yet cohesive and original blend of glitching electronics, processed, vocoder tinted vocals and soaring guitar lines, the result is a sound as comparable to Glass Animals as it is to M83 and The 1975. Bringing together elements of hyper-pop, with indie-rock drive and pulsing, splashes of electronics, the EP showcases the potential Sig Sali has as a writer and performer.
Produced alongside Freddie Cowan (The Vaccines, Freddie & The Scenarios), mixed by Ricardo Acasuso (The Vaccines) and mastered by Mike Marsh, the new single highlights the blend lo-fi electronics, biting guitar tones and striking vocal melodies which stylise the full EP; Catchy and accessible yet alternative and challenging.
Talking about the track, SIG SALI explains:
“This song is about that kind of love that hits like a car crash: you don’t see it coming and suddenly it’s everywhere. It’s reckless, obsessive, messy as hell, but it feels the most alive you’ve ever been! You’re staying out too late, saying too much, laughing at nothing, touching as if you’re trying to memorise each other. There’s this fake confidence in the beginning, like you’re both playing it cool, but underneath, it’s terrifying because you know you’re already in too deep… It’s that moment where you don’t care if it’s gonna fall apart later, you just want to stay in the high a little longer. That’s what this song is. It’s not perfect. It’s real.”
The Chaos In My Mind EP is a reflection of SIG SALI’s personal evolution as an artist, blending emotive lyrics with bold, atmospheric production. Danny explains: “Chaos In My Mind is exactly what it sounds like — a swirl of obsession, anxiety, love, and confusion all fighting for space inside my head. It’s like stepping into someone else’s messy world, caught somewhere between real life and the wild, twisted stories they tell themselves. So this EP isn’t purely about me, but about fragments of things I’ve seen, felt, or imagined over time. There’s reckless love, nights that spiral out of control, moments of raw vulnerability, and impulses that hit without warning. It’s dark, impulsive, and far from neat… it’s alive.
Working with Freddie Cowan (ex-The Vaccines) brought it to life. His guitar playing became a voice of its own—urgent, unpredictable, and vital to the storytelling. This EP is as much about his energy as my writing. It’s chaotic, honest, and alive. And I wouldn’t change a thing.”
From the smooth, electronic pulses to the soaring indie-rock guitar riffs, SIG SALI crafts a sound that is uniquely his own. The upcoming EP also taps into the dream-like allure of late-night moments, with each song carrying a distinct mood and narrative, all presented through SIG SALI’s alter ego.
With a wave of growing support across the likes of Earmilk, Notion, Atwood Magazine and BBC Radio, Sig Sali has started to make a name for himself as one to watch.
