Perrie Edwards – You Go Your Way: Perrie Edwards continues to demonstrate her versatility as a solo recording artist with the release of her uplifting new single, “You Go Your Way.”
Originally produced as an underground club track by the London-based dance duo Joy Anonymous, the song captures a pivotal moment early in Perrie’s relationship with her fiancé, footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, during their honeymoon phase before they became an official couple.
Reflecting on the lyrics, Perrie shares, “I told Alex, ‘You go your way, and I’ll go mine. If it’s meant to be, we’ll find each other again when I’m back.’ He wasn’t happy with this idea and made our relationship official right then and there! Fast forward eight years, and we’re very happy, engaged, and have our beautiful son. I truly believe if you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it’s yours. If not, it was never meant to be.”

The track features additional production from Scottish musician Hudson Mohawke (known for his work with Charli XCX) and showcases a powerful, mid-tempo pop anthem driven by Perrie’s soaring and emotive vocals. The pulsating bass builds to a bold chorus that feels both empowering and cathartic.
