Born and raised in Boone, North Carolina, Sigmon is no stranger to the music scene. He has been in several bands over the years, including the indie pop-rock band, Seeking Gravity, as well as releasing his own solo praise and worship projects.
“Gardens” is Kyle’s first folk-genre single leading up to what is sure to be an amazing new album. Fans of artists with layered harmonies and poetic lyrics like Iron & Wine, will fall in love with Sigmon’s beautiful vocals and melodic acoustic guitars. This shift in genre style also coincides with a vocational change for Sigmon and he explains, “The themes in the music even start to express some of these deeper personal questions that have led me down this path.”
From start to finish, “Gardens” paints an aurally detailed scene that leaves the listener wanting to hit repeat and remain in this enchanted story. Sigmon has created folk magic on this track and listeners are sure to agree. The writing, performing, recording, and production was all self- produced, and the mixing and mastering was done by Jake Rye (also known for his work with Coy Roy – Bo Rinehart of NEEDTOBREATHE, Stay Outside, Michigander, The Newsboys, Sanctus Real, Shawn McDonald, and many others).Be sure to check out “Gardens” on social media and all digital platforms TODAY.
