American-Ukrainian pop singer Kelsie Kimberlin has unveiled the official music video for her sixth release of 2025, “Dream of Peace.” The cinematic project, filmed in Kyiv, Ukraine, is both a deeply personal artistic statement and a symbolic tribute to the hopes of Ukrainians longing for peace.
The video paints a striking narrative. Kelsie wanders through a post-apocalyptic world and discovers an astronaut lying motionless in the barren dunes. As she gently touches the spacesuit, the astronaut is transported back in time and space, unlocking a world of renewal. Fertile landscapes burst to life, flowers bloom, and serenity returns. The astronaut eventually removes the helmet, revealing Kelsie herself, a powerful metaphor for resilience, rebirth, and the dream of a peaceful future. The final image captures Kelsie standing before a field of golden sunflowers beneath a vivid blue sky, echoing the national colors of Ukraine. The video will premiere at the International Peace Concert in Los Angeles on September 21, 2025, aligning with the International Day of Peace celebrated worldwide.
Kelsie and her team filmed “Dream of Peace” in Kyiv during late August 2025, at a time when the city endured one of the heaviest missile and drone attacks of the war. Despite air raid sirens, martial law, and the constant threat of violence, the crew pressed forward with remarkable courage. The visual was directed by Denys Akulov of To Be Production, whose innovative use of motion control technology delivered breathtaking effects. Akulov, known for his work on Ed Sheeran’s viral “2Step” video, transformed Kelsie’s vision into a world-class production that blends artistry with a poignant message of hope.
Musically, the song itself is a masterpiece. Built around orchestral and choral arrangements that swell into an emotional crescendo, it is designed to stir both heart and spirit. The track was produced by Ukrainian composer Yuriy Shapeta and Colombian producer Pedro Vengoechea, with vocal and choral production by Larry Friedman. Grammy winner Liam Nolan, best known for his work with Adele, mixed the record, while Grammy nominee Stuart Hawkes, known for his work with Amy Winehouse, handled mastering, bringing together a global team of elite talent.
“I wanted to do something special to focus attention on the aspirations of Ukrainians for peace,” Kelsie shared. “The International Day of Peace and the International Concert for Peace gave me the perfect opportunity to showcase ‘Dream of Peace.’ I am incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this vision a reality.”
Kelsie Kimberlin continues to establish herself as a prolific artist and humanitarian. With over 100 original songs written and dozens released, her music has already generated tens of millions of views, streams, and radio plays across the globe. Each release is crafted with the support of Grammy-winning and Grammy-nominated producers, underscoring her commitment to world-class artistry.
Her advocacy for Ukraine has also been recognized on the global stage. On April 27, 2025, she received two prestigious honors for her unwavering support, the United Nations Humanitarian Award and the St. George’s Royal Medal of Honor issued by King Charles. Looking ahead, Kelsie will release a full-length film about Ukraine, featuring a soundtrack of her songs, and she plans to tour with the project to raise awareness and build international support for the country.
