Exstra – All I Will Ever Know: “All I’ll Ever Know” comes after Exstra’s recent song “Frozen,” which was featured in the prestigious magazine Magnetic and played by Nora En Pure on Purified Radio 404 and 409 and by AVIRA on The Sound Gallery 002. On the track “Let Go,” he worked with singer Britt Lari (Tep No, Big Gigantic, and CloZee), and he is planning to work with more vocalists in the coming months.
In February 2023, he played at the We Belong Here music event in Miami, along with headliners Kaskade and Lane 8. The next month, he was a DJ support act for Martin Roth. On May 24, 2024, he performed at the We Belong Here music event in New York City.
Steven Landis grew up in Valley Stream, New York, and now lives in New York City. In the late 1990s, he listened to a lot of pop electronic music, like Robert Miles, Le Bouche, A Touch of Class, Pete Konemann, and others. He took a slow start into the world of electronic music. In grade school, he tried playing the cello, but it didn’t stick.
He then joined the school choir in middle school and was chosen to join a more selective chorale in high school. He sang in the Vatican and traveled to Rome and Florence for shows with the chorale, but it was seeing Avicii live in college that made him want to become a DJ. His first gigs were as Exstra at parties and bars in Washington, DC (Shadowroom, Opera, etc.).
He moved to New York City after finishing in 2013 and played at almost every nightclub there until 2020. As he became more popular, he was also booked for shows in Paris and Cambodia during that time. In 2020, Covid lockdowns made him want to become a music producer. He worked on his skills and four months later got his first record deal with Enormous Chills.
Dark analog sounds and beautiful organic tones are mixed together by Exstra to make music that will keep you hypnotized on the dance floor. His music is influenced by artists like Nora En Pure, Cassian, Camelphat, and Joris Voorn. Fans of these artists, as well as fans of Sultan & Shepard, Le Youth, Tinlicker, and Eli & Fur, are sure to enjoy it.
The first few notes of “All I’ll Ever Know” are a sparkling arpeggio that repeats and changes shape several times during the song. The track is very well put together. It has soft, gradual rises and falls, as well as beautiful, atmospheric synths, all set to an addictive beat that comes and goes. The soulful singing of MØØNE bring the song to life. Her measured rhythm is full of passion, creating a happy mood that will make you want to move.

Exstra shared: “The instrumental version of ‘All I’ll Ever Know’ started with the melodic arp you hear featured throughout and came together extremely quickly. I knew that I wanted it to have vocals and I was so excited when MØØNE was down to collaborate. MØØNE’s warm and emotional voice is the perfect addition to the record and we’re so excited to be able to share it with the world!”
