Following the mournful surrender of Chapter 1 (“I Can’t”), “Masochist” confronts obsession and the brutal cycle of self-destruction. Driven by haunting melodies, piano drama, and hypnotic synths, the song blends raw emotion with Empara Mi’s signature cinematic flair.
“This song in particular I sort of went full ‘cinema’ on,” she shares. “I’ve always been very enamoured by the Bond movie soundtracks… My dream would be to actually do the song for Bond but for now this can be my audition.”
