Z3LLA – Pick Up The Tempo: Z3LLA are back and they’re taking no prisoners. The rising duo just dropped “Pick Up The Tempo”, a moody dance-pop banger that pulses with gritty synths, hypnotic beats, and a whole lot of late-night attitude.

Marking their second release with Dim Mak (following May’s cinematic “Origami”), this new track dives deeper into the duo’s darker, edgier sound. Think glossy pop vocals crashing into underground club energy. Z3LLA call it “lust in sonic form,” and it’s easy to hear why.

“Pick Up The Tempo is a song with pop vocal elements but an infectious darker electronic sound for us,” they explain. “It’s as if Tate McRae made a song for a 2am warehouse rave.” That late-night energy is already connecting on the road, with the song premiering during Phase 2 tour stops. “After teasing it on socials for months, getting to perform it live with vocals for the first time was surreal,” the duo shared.

Fresh off shows in NYC and Cleveland and a high-energy set with Galantis (after previously linking up at Brooklyn Mirage), Z3LLA are quickly carving out their space in the electronic-pop scene. Next stop is Breakaway Festival in Philly this fall.

“Pick Up The Tempo” is sweaty, seductive, and totally unrelenting. Z3LLA are turning up the volume and daring you to keep up.
