TMBwoy – Seyiaa: TMBwoy, the Ghanaian sensation who’s been lighting up the Afro Dancehall scene, is back with his electrifying new single, Seyiaa, dropping on the 4th April, 2025. This mid-tempo banger is a celebration of life’s carefree highs, blending vibrant African percussion with smooth, chilled vibes that’ll have you dancing one minute and vibing the next. It’s the kind of track that grabs you from the first beat and doesn’t let go, an anthem for those unforgettable nights where nothing else matters but the music and the moment.

Hailing from the spirited streets of Dunkwa On-Offin, TMBwoy channels the energy of his roots into Seyiaa, a song born from the pure joy of living in the now. “It’s about that feeling of freedom and excitement when you’re out with friends, letting go of stress, and just soaking in the good vibes,” he explains. Inspired by those electric nights where the crowd, the sound, and the atmosphere fuse into something magical, Seyiaa, which means “just like this” in Ghanaian Twi, is TMBwoy’s invitation to dance your worries away and embrace the ride.

Teaming up with Ghanaian production heavyweight Streetbeatz and co-producer Mixpro, TMBwoy crafts a global sound that’s as infectious as it is unique. “Streetbeatz brought those dynamic beats and the perfect energy to match the vibe I was going for,” he shares. The track’s hard-hitting drums and lively African rhythms collide with mellow tones, think SY Chillzone 1 and BA Basic Sine from NEXUS, layered with warm textures, creating a balance of party-ready energy and laid-back cool. Recorded in Streetbeatz’s mobile studio during a spontaneous, game-filled hangout, Seyiaa captures that organic spark of creativity. “We were just having fun, sipping drinks, and the track came to life on its own,” TMBwoy recalls. “That carefree energy is all over it.”

For TMBwoy, Seyiaa isn’t just a song, it’s a mindset. “The message is simple: live in the moment, celebrate life, and let go of the negativity,” he says. It’s a standalone single for now, but with an upcoming EP in the works, this track could be the first taste of something bigger depending on how it resonates with fans. And if the buzz is any indication, it’s poised to take over dancefloors and playlists alike. Fresh off a stellar run, snagging Dancehall Song of the Year in 2020, Dancehall Artist of the Year in 2021, 2022, and 2023, and the coveted Artist of the Year title in 2024 at the Central Region Music Awards, TMBwoy is riding a wave of momentum. Influenced by Afro Dancehall trailblazers like Stonebwoy and global icons like Akon and Popcaan, he’s carving out his own lane with a voice that’s as addictive as it is unmistakable. “I love mixing genres and creating something fresh that’s not confined to one box,” he says of his signature sound. “It’s about keeping people energized and feeling like they’re part of the moment.”
