TÂCHES – Searching For God: British-born and now based in Costa Rica, producer TÂCHES is celebrated for his genre-blending creativity and boundary-pushing sound. He continues to captivate audiences with a sonic experience that is both timeless and forward-thinking.
TÂCHES is thrilled to announce the release of his latest single, “Searching For God,” featuring the legendary David Satori, known for his work with Beats Antique and Dirtwire. This evocative track is the first in a series of collaborations that originated from a chance meeting in the mystical village of San Marcos La Laguna, Guatemala, and came to life in the lush rainforests of Costa Rica.
The journey began on the Winter Solstice of 2022 at an intimate festival held at “Eagles Nest,” a distinctive hotel perched atop a mountain with stunning views of a nearby volcano that erupts every 20 minutes. In the sacred landscapes of San Marcos La Laguna, TÂCHES and David Satori found themselves as neighbors, their rooms separated only by a balcony divider. Their conversations flowed effortlessly, and it wasn’t long before they realized they were both headlining the festival.
After the festival, TÂCHES returned to Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles, only to discover that fate had more in store. David Satori had moved just down the road, sparking the potential for collaboration. However, it wasn’t until the final week before Satori’s move to Boulder, Colorado, that the two finally connected creatively. What began as a casual jam session quickly transformed into a prolific burst of creativity, with the duo crafting 10 tracks in a single sitting—essentially an entire album in just a few hours.

These tracks were set aside and remained dormant until TÂCHES rediscovered them while staying in the rainforests of Costa Rica earlier this year. The jungle’s atmosphere breathed new life into the music, evolving the tracks into the immersive soundscapes they are today. The first of these is “Searching For God,” where the subtle sounds of the rainforest intertwine with the duo’s innovative musical style.
“‘Searching For God’ is just the beginning,” TÂCHES shares. “There are nine more tracks, each carrying the essence of the places where they were conceived and the moments that inspired them. I’m excited to share them with the world.”
